No chat in google chrome for bowling

hi. the site says google chrome is the recommended browser. i'm using it but as of a few days ago i have no chat. it worked previously but now it's just a blank white box.

Also, my zoom on chrome is set to 100% and screen resolution at 1024x768, but the scoreboard on the left pane is cut off and i can't scroll over, what is the optimal screen settings for bowling?
